Engagements run from capital strategy and board advisory through institutional readiness and execution. On the transaction side, the firm structures asset-backed facilities, negotiates warehouse and forward flow arrangements, and advises on securitization. The same desk prepares clients for institutional capital long before the first term sheet.

The ligature Æ traces to ancient Greek, where aithēr named the uppermost layer of the sky. To the classical mind it was more than atmosphere. Earth, water, air and fire composed the changing world. Aether was the fifth element, the quintessence: the substance of the heavens, unchanging while everything beneath it churned. The Romans fused two letters into a single form to carry the word, and that form persisted through medieval manuscripts and early print. Most modern alphabets discarded it. The languages that kept it kept it because it worked.

Alan Rios has spent a decade on the execution side of capital markets and alternative investments. As Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Markets for a specialty finance platform, he led more than $100 million in transactions across debt and equity: warehouse facilities, forward flow structures and preferred equity in the ABS market, along with the infrastructure for future securitizations.
Before that he served as Vice President in Citi's North America Family Office Group, where he led more than $150 million in mandate wins across investments, banking and lending, and the group's coverage model carried raises from Series B rounds to project financings above $1.2 billion.
He serves on various AI start-up advisory boards and is also head of capital strategy for the single-family office House of Vanderbilt. Alan spends his time between Connecticut and New York while maintaining his roots in Texas.
